I'm looking for a VPS for a fairly loaded application, and the deeper I dig, the more questions I have. Some say that the main thing is the CPU, others say that the speed of the NVMe disk is more important. How do you determine how much RAM you really need if there are background processes and API requests?
I was advised to look at hostpro.com, where, by the way, daily backups are included in the tariff, which was surprising because most providers charge for it separately. But in general, I want to understand: what do you focus on when choosing a VPS - the number of vCPUs, IOPS, disk stability, backups? Please share your experience.
