Earlier, this month we had reported about the strong growth of Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains maintained month over month. The crypto domains is growing fast and strong as the total number of ETH domains has now crossed the 2 million mark.
In a tweet ENS.eth announced the achievement over the important milestone. The name system continued its thundering growth in August also. At the end of July, the total number of .eth domains had reached 1.8 million.
In a matter of a few days, the number has exceeded 2 million. This shows the strong growth that Crypto domains are witnessing currently. As mentioned in the tweet, it took ENS 5 years to reach 1 million. However, the next million was reached in just 3.5 months!
ENS is growing strong with many speculating it to be the next .com. However, the growth isn’t as organic as it seems. There are other reasons for the spike in domains as well. You can read about them here.
